edition:20 A beautiful tour de force engraving by one of my intaglio teachers at Pratt titled "Cock of Socrates" inspired me to title this engraving I did of an old wool sock. A jewelry making colleague of mine had given me a set of cast off engravers burins he was never going to use and I was amazed at the variety of shapes and styles. I tried to use every pattern in the set for this print. Exhibited:A number of shows in the 70s.
