Storm and Sycamore, aquatint, 12"x9"

edition of 20   Taking a lunch break between meetings I decided to grab my brown bag and flee the Art Department on a lovely Autumn day. In the town of Caroline I spotted this old leaning garage in the company of an even older Sycamore. What was a nice day became a brooding thunderstorm and I did a somewhat scribbly sketch as the storm enveloped the three of us.It was back to work for me but I thought this image would make a nice aquatint. The plate was etched in copper in February of 2001.
