Drying Fleece, oil/linen, 9"x12"

When the wool is shorn it must be fairly dry but winter does not always cooperate with this plan. It must be dry when it is sold since it is sold by weight and buyers are not interested in paying for rainwater. On the first breezy, sunny day damp fleece is spread out and periodically tossed to remove the excess moisture. Painted in 2011.
